Before you trust your business to our servers, you should know what
we've done to earn that trust. Our story began with the founding
of our parent company, Microdata Sciences Corporation.
Since 1996, Microdata has provided network support and a range of
value-added services to small- and mid-sized enterprises. The company
also built custom servers and workstations for its clients. These
included database servers and applications for the ground systems
that supported the Hubble Space Telescope for NASA.
As Microdata's business grew, so did demand for its "white box"
servers and workstations. The only thing missing was a brand to
help customers identify with them. So hundreds of servers (and dozens
of satisfied users) later, Microdata branded its hardware as Thunderbox.
In 2003, Thunderbox Systems, Inc. was spun off to concentrate on
providing pre-configured, optimized servers to small- to mid-sized
government contractors as well as law offices and Oracle database
developers. Today, Thunderbox servers help companies expand their
business - building on the same configuration management experience
that helped NASA expand our knowledge of the universe. |
What are customers are saying about us.
Thunderbox Systems, Inc. has been providing Virginia Regional Transit
Association with Thunderbox computer workstations and servers for
over 2 years now. The Thunderbox brand of computers are very functional
and reliable. Thunderbox System's pricing is very aggressive and
competitive compared to other major brands. They have features not
found on computers in the same price range.
In addition, Thunderbox System's parent company Microdata Sciences
Corporation designed and built our computer network which now has
20 workstations, two servers hosting both applications, data and
our email. Microdata's help and support from the design phase through
installing the network was exceptional. Thunderbox and Microdata
continue to find solutions to all our technical needs.
Thunderbox and Microdata are a winning team. I would highly recommend
them to any company looking for computers, service and support.
